so What is Pass the Can...

Pass The Can is one of Troy Camp’s long-standing fundraising traditions that takes place at the USC Homecoming football game.

For over 60 years, this event has been a familiar and beloved part of the USC community. During halftime, empty milk jugs are passed throughout the entire Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, raising awareness and collecting donations for our organization.

Hosting over 77,000 in-person attendees and countless remote viewers, this highly anticipated game draws students, staff, alumni, families, and fans to come together in celebration and school spirit. Fans tailgate on campus, gather at the
Coliseum, and tune in from home to watch—united as Trojans.

It is a call to our community to help us keep Troy Camp’s mission alive by giving the gift of opportunity to the students we serve.

As we enter into Troy Camp’s 78th year of programming, we’re calling upon your help in allowing us to continue providing mentorship for 78 more years to come! We have 3 ways you can help support and make our fundraising goals a reality this year:

1. MONETARY DONATION!If you are able to support us financially this year, we have two methods of donation leading up to November 15, either online or via mail:

**FOR EITHER DONATION METHOD:
Additionally, if you choose to donate, please also fill out this short Google form accompanying your donation. We ask this because due to new USC restrictions about how we can conduct our fundraising, USC has full oversight of all transactions through the mailing address and giving page, and us as counselors are unable to see any donor or donation information. While this measure is in place to ensure the security/privacy of your information, it makes it so that we don’t have the best estimate of the donations we are making, nor a record of our donors that we can thank. So if you could please take a second after your donation to fill out this form to help with our internal records, it would be greatly appreciated.**And every donation over $250 will automatically receive a tax-deductible receipt from USC on Troy Camp’s behalf**

October 3rd! Reunite with past counselors and enjoy our Homecoming game as you help us put on PTC during halftime. (and its free to go to the game + get a free shirt! :)‍2. ALUMNI WEEK EVENTS!
